Eric the Elf has been at it again but this time causing mischief in Reception! He threw our self registration names on the floor, then made snow angels all over the floor before building a swing in our reading area! He covered himself in Mrs Powell’s stickers but was then captured by dinosaurs!
We hope he doesn’t cause any more chaos this afternoon…
We danced, we laughed, played party games and enjoyed party food. What a fantastic afternoon we had with our school family. We are definitely ready to party with our families at home.
The children were not only lucky enough to meet Santa today, they also fed and petted his very special reindeers. Wow! The children would like to thank Santa for their special presents and for coming to see them, especially at this busy time of year. What a truly magical day!
We have had lots of fun today being superheroes! We had some superhero training earlier where we tested our super strength, super speed, super flying and super patrolling. We are looking forward to super hero craft this afternoon.
The children all look amazing in their costumes so a big thank you to all the parents for your support!
We had lots of fun on Tuesday celebrating Eco Day! The children made their very own litter picker and collected litter around the school grounds.
We have had a lovely day making pancakes in Year One. Everyone cut their own fruit using either a claw or bridge technique. I was really impressed with the children’s listening and cutting skills. Happy Not Pancake Day from Year One 😊
Our reception children had a fantastic time looking for autumn leaves and exploring the school woodland. We gathered lots of autumnal leaves to use in our creative work next week. We also had lots of fun hiding in dens, balancing on logs and tree stumps, hunting for mini beasts and some children made musical instrument from bark and sticks. What a lovely morning we had!
Thank you for sending in so many lovely photos of you sharing the bedtime story books. I have loved sharing your special story time. I look forward to seeing even more. Children, look out for your photos in our book area and on our ‘Bedtime Story’ display board.
