In the Nursery today it’s been all about birthdays. Firstly we sang happy birthday to the children who have already turned four then we set about being very busy. We decorated balloons, wrote invitations, made play dough and stickle brick cakes and had a make believe birthday party to name just a few of our activities. It has been a lovely day thanks to all our superstars!
Thank you to all of the parents who attended our coffee morning this morning. We would also like to thank Bev from Pegis for coming along to speak with us. We hope you all found it as beneficial as we did at school. Tasty cake too!
We are very proud of these two Nursery girls who have performed at The Regent theatre. They have worked really hard and even shared some of their moves with their school friends. Well done girls we are very proud!
We have some superstar footballers in year 2.
Josh is very proud of is new away kit and couldn’t wait to show Miss Davies!
Archie has a fantastic medal from his tournament at the weekend too!
Well done boys! ⚽️
We want to say a huge congratulations at the end of your SATS week. We know you have worked really hard and been amazing role models for us with your positive attitudes. 👏🏼
Have a fantastic time at Water World tomorrow, love Year 1.
To celebrate the Queens 90th birthday the nursery children have been making crowns. They have all really enjoyed this activity and they have loved wearing them as they played.
A fantastic ‘Big Pedal’ effort from Year 3 and Year 4 over the last two days.
Nearly 50 children have taken to two wheels when traveling to and from school.
I wonder if Year 5 and Year 6 will be able to match this on Thursday and Friday?
Stay safe, and keep pedalling!
We still have a few more images of the Easter bonnets, which the children made and the eggs, which thy decorated. We’d very much like to share them with you. Apologies to anyone who we missed. Your creations were fabulous children.
We couldn’t finish for the Easter break without sharing a few more photos from the Easter activities we have been doing in the Nursery. The children have made some very tasty Easter nests, lots of them not making it out of the building before being eaten. Then the children independently created these fabulous chicks. We hope you all have a lovely well earned break.
The nursery children have made some fantastic Easter Bonnets. The children have really enjoyed showing them off to their friends.Thank you for you fantastic support.
