Mr Frost’s class had a fantastic afternoon during World Book Day. The children listened to stories from around the world and then responded by writing their own letters or short stories. Watch the videos to see some of the fantastic work that the children produced.

The children in Mr Hunt’s class had a fantastic World Book Day. Braving the weather, and wearing fantastic fancy dress, the children listened to stories from around the world, including Norway, Arabia and China. The children then picked their favourite story and created their own book covers, including their own art work and the all important blurb. They look fantastic on our class reading tree! Well done children!

We had a brilliant World Book Day in the nursery today. We had lots of characters from Robin Hood, Bo Peep, Hungry Caterpillars to The Smartest Giant in Town plus many, many more. Each and every one of the children looked absolutely amazing!
Thank you so much for your continued support

Reception World Book Day

The children in Reception all looked fantastic in their character costumes to celebrate World Book Day. We have enjoyed looking at the children’s favourite stories too.

As Dr Seuss once said “you can find magic wherever you look. Sit back and relax, all you need is a book”.
