Y4 are currently learning about the Mayans in their history lessons. Inspired by what we learned about Mayan masks, we have designed and created our own in our art lessons. As well as learning lots of history, we’ve learned how to manipulate the clay; pulling, stretching, rolling and joining pieces of clay together. I’m sure you’ll agree that the results are fantastic. We look forward to firing and glazing them in the weeks to come.
