This week, Year 3 have started a new topic all about the Stone Age. As part of this, we have looked at different jobs that help find things out about the past, such as paleontology, archaeology and geology. The children have been tasked with becoming geologists themselves, taking on a rock hunt around our school. They worked brilliantly to explore their surrounding environment, finding rocks that matched a particular description and then coming up with different reasons for why certain sizes and shapes of rock were found in certain locations. Excellent work Year 3!
