This afternoon, Year 2 have been learning all about the importance of Remembrance Day. We have learnt that every year, we mark the end of World War 1 and honour all of the fallen on the 11th day of the 11th month. The children have produced some beautiful writing and have drawn their own poppies. Leyton has also brought in a fantastic poppy that he created this week during his Boys Brigade session. Well done children. I’m sure that on Sunday at 11am you will hold your two minute silence remembering all of the soldiers who have died.
